Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets.
- Develop, enhance, and support Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Marts, and Data Lake solutions.
- Design, develop, document, and maintain ETL solutions using Microsoft Azure Data Factory (ADF) and/or SSIS.
- Create and optimize complex T-SQL, stored procedures, views, triggers, indexes, and database objects.
- Design and implement enterprise data quality, data cleansing, and data governance processes.
- Perform advanced data analysis to deliver meaningful business insights.
- Develop scalable data integration solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Data Warehouse, and SQL Server 2016 or later.
- Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and project stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in data modelling activities for enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and Data Lake environments.
- Research, document, recommend, and implement technical improvements and automation solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), QA Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and post-production support.
- Provide accurate work estimates and regular project status updates.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Database Development for enterprise-scale solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Azure Data Factory (ADF) and/or SSIS
- Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics
- SQL Data Warehouse
- SQL Server 2016 or later
- Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Extensive experience designing and implementing Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Strong expertise in data modelling, ETL development, and data warehouse architecture.
- Experience implementing data quality, data cleansing, and data stewardship processes.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an Agile project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience developing Microsoft Power BI reports or other enterprise data visualization solutions.
- Experience with enterprise-scale Azure cloud data platforms.
- Experience supporting large enterprise data integration projects.

- Technical design documents and functional specifications.
- Fully developed and unit-tested data engineering components.
- Technical support during System Integration Testing, QA Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Deployment preparation and implementation support.
- Technical documentation.
- Post-implementation production support.
- Project status reports.
