Document Control Analyst
· Pay Rate: $31.98/hour, depending on experience
· Contract Length: 1 Year

Raise is currently hiring a Document Control Analyst on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on W2 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
- The Document Control Analyst in this role will be responsible for providing document management support to the project team. This role manages the project SharePoint site, ensures project documents and records are properly named and stored, and ensures documents are transferred to the system of record during project closeout.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute the Information Management Plan.
- Partner with the U.S. SharePoint Administrator to develop project-specific SharePoint sites and establish appropriate security and access permissions for contractors and internal teams.
- Review Contractor Document Control Requirements and revise them to align with project contracts.
- Develop and maintain:
- Transmittal log
- Distribution matrix
- Master document register
- Manage setup, monitoring, and coordination of field document processes.
- Set up document repositories, metadata, and access permissions for project documentation.
- Track document submissions, revisions, approvals, and distributions.
- Manage document naming and numbering in accordance with established standards.
- Control sensitive and restricted information, including regulated information.
- Distribute documents based on the document distribution matrix.
- Monitor deliverables through the master document register and identify missing documentation.
- File records according to document control and records management requirements.
- Track receipt of records and report status to management.
- Work with Project Managers, Engineers, Field Clerks, and Contractors to resolve discrepancies in documentation.
- Partner with the Retention Specialist to prepare hardcopy records in accordance with the client’s Information Management Policy.
- Support the Project Turnover Memorandum process.
- Remove electronic transitory information when applicable.
- Manage all documentation related to project closeout activities.
- Maintain records in project deliverable tracking tools as required.
- Perform additional project-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in document control, records management, or information management within capital projects, engineering, or energy sectors.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycles, document retention policies, and compliance standards for handling sensitive or regulated information.
- SharePoint Administration & Repository Setup – Proven background in configuring and structuring project collaboration environments. Proficiency in setting up and managing Microsoft SharePoint sites, defining metadata, establishing folder structures, and configuring granular security access permissions for internal teams and external contractors.
- Master Document Registers & Tracking Logs – Deliverables: Demonstrated ability to independently develop, maintain, and manage foundational document control artifacts, including Master Document Registers, Transmittal Logs, and Distribution Matrices.
- Quality Control & Compliance Auditing -Experience with enforcing document naming/numbering standards, tracking submission-to-approval workflows, and cross-referencing deliverables against the Master Document Register to flag missing or non-compliant documentation.
- Experience: Experience acting as the central liaison between diverse stakeholders.
- · Strong communication and problem-solving skills to partner with Project Managers, Engineers, Field Clerks, and Contractors to quickly resolve documentation discrepancies and manage field-level processes.
- Project Turnover & Closeout Execution experience supporting project closeout activities, including organizing system-of-record transfers, preparing hardcopy records alongside Retention Specialists, and supporting the Project Turnover Memorandum process.
