- Work Schedule: Onsite | 3rd shift | 10:00pm to 06:30am
Raise is currently hiring a General Utility (US) in Dallas TX on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Job Overview
- This position is our entry-level position into the plant.
- The responsibilities of this job are cleaning and filling operator positions in different areas of the plant.
- Good communication and writing skills are required for this position. The candidate must be able to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts and be able to fill the different operator positions throughout the plant after a training period.
- The position requires that you have the ability to:· lift 50 pounds · work from heights · sit, stand, kneel, crawl, and bend · work in a variety of hot and cold conditions.
Responsibilities
- Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:
- Area housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and buildings
- Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel and supervisors as needed
- Assist with product handling
- Movement and operation of forklift, skid-steer and front-end loaders.
- Barge Movement
- Rail Operations
Qualifications:
- To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Commitment to Company goal of achieving a zero injury culture
- Understand and follow company safety procedures
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc), lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, shovel material and operate a vacuum
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
- Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
