  • Pay Rate: $75 – $84.40/hour (on W2)
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Location: Spring, TX 77389 (Onsite with 25% travel to Baton Rouge, LA)

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Lead to drive cost and schedule excellence across complex projects. In this role, you will oversee cost estimation, scheduling validation, and project controls, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment across stakeholders. You’ll play a critical part in guiding project performance, improving processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cost and schedule control activities, including change management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Prepare and review cost estimates, schedules, and progress reports across project milestones.
  • Validate and benchmark estimates/schedules against third-party (OBO) submissions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, schedulers, and accounting teams.
  • Monitor budgets, analyze cost trends, and recommend corrective actions for variances.
  • Support staffing planning and performance feedback for cost & schedule teams.
  • Maintain and enhance cost control systems and documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for capital efficiency and QA processes.
  • Provide weekly and monthly status updates and executive summaries.
  • Ensure strong cross-functional coordination internally and with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years in planning, scheduling, or project controls.
  • Advanced expertise in cost estimating, project planning, and controls.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and schedule analytics.
  • Strong experience in resource-loaded schedules and progress measurement.
  • Deep understanding of AWP processes and full project lifecycle (FEED to startup)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence, problem-solve, and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Owner and EPC experience preferred.
