  • Pay Rate: $56.81/hour, depending on experience
  • Contract Length: 1 Year
  • Location: Houston, Texas
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

 

Raise is currently hiring a Business Analyst (Specialist) on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business professional to support data analytics, data entry, reporting, and project management activities within a professional corporate environment.

 

Description

The Business Analyst (Specialist) will perform advanced data entry, data validation, reporting, and administrative support activities while working with multiple systems and large volumes of information. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, mathematical ability, and the ability to prioritize and organize work independently.

The successful candidate will also support project management activities and should be proficient with Microsoft Forms, Power Platform tools, and data management applications, with experience using Microsoft Access considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Data Management & Quality

  • Perform advanced data entry activities across multiple systems.
  • Input and process alpha/numeric data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Review and verify information for completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify and correct errors through visual inspection and validation.
  • Prioritize and organize work through coding and sorting.
  • Maintain accurate records and confidential information.
  • Process approximately 10,000 keystrokes per hour using keyboard and 10-key functions.

Reporting & Systems Support

  • Generate reports based on entered and processed data.
  • Work with multiple data entry and information systems.
  • Support data organization, validation, and reporting requirements.
  • Develop simple standard operating procedures for recurring data entry activities.
  • Use Microsoft tools, including MS Forms and Power Platform, to support business processes.
  • Perform basic system or mechanical adjustments as required within the scope of the position.

Project & Administrative Support

  • Support project management activities and departmental initiatives.
  • Plan, organize, and schedule assigned work independently.
  • Make decisions within the scope of assigned responsibilities and authority.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff after developing sufficient knowledge and experience.
  • Support the department with additional data and administrative activities as required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • High school/post-secondary education preferred.
  • Advanced data entry and strong 10-key skills.
  • Ability to process approximately 10,000 keystrokes/hour.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Forms, Power Platform, and Access.
  • Project management and reporting experience.
  • Experience developing standard operating procedures.
  • Strong data analysis and recordkeeping skills.
