Human Resources Analyst
- Pay Rate: $55.59 to 68.19/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 1 year

Raise is currently hiring a Human Resources Analyst on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, the third largest producer of Canadian oil and natural gas and the second largest refiner and upgrader with extensive midstream and downstream infrastructure.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
Reporting to the Manager, HR Services, the HR Analyst is a key contributor to the efficient and reliable operations of the HR team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing and optimizing HR systems, ensuring accurate and secure data management across the entire employee life cycle—from onboarding to offboarding. Your focus on client care, coupled with your technical expertise, will enable us to maintain operational excellence while providing a seamless and trusted experience for both employees and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Provide HR support both internally and externally to , primary support provided for employees and leaders.
- Administer HR processes, including onboarding, position management, promotions, terminations, and leave administration, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Partner with HR to troubleshoot, configure, and enhance system functionality.
- Draft and review of offer letters, as well as partner with the Talent team to ensure the offer letter information is accurate.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to manage and maintain HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security across the employee life cycle (e.g., Workday, SAP, ServiceNow).
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, internal security policies, and best practices, proactively mitigating risks to sensitive HR data.
- Perform regular audits and data clean-ups to maintain the accuracy and completeness of HR data.
- Provide system training and support to HR team members and other stakeholders to enhance system utilization and understanding.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring seamless implementation and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support the system execution of the annual HR programs such as compensation cycles, and new grad and student cycles.
- Maintain knowledge of organizational and HR policies and procedures.
- Lead or actively participate in projects to develop, review, and improve HR processes within HR Employee Services.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal and external facing HR knowledge articles within ServiceNow
- Maintain knowledge of organizational and HR policies and procedures to answer general employee and leader inquiries and system entry while adhering to ’s values and practices.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of direct, hands-on experience working within HR Systems, HR Operations, or a closely related HRIS analyst function.
- Demonstrated, robust technical experience configuring, navigating, and maintaining enterprise-grade HRIS platforms (specifically Workday, SAP, or ServiceNow), including supporting backend workflows, system upgrades, and patches.
- Advanced proficiency in HR data management, governance, and security best practices—proven by an ability to execute rigorous routine audits, data clean-ups, and strict compliance with privacy regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully administering complex operational HR processes—including onboarding, position management, promotions, offboarding, leave administration, and annual cycle executions (compensation/student programs)—with high accuracy and attention to details
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability to lead or actively participate in continuous improvement projects, troubleshoot intricate system issues, and author clear internal/external knowledge articles (e.g., in ServiceNow).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client service orientation, capable of partnering cross-functionally with Talent, IT, and business leaders to deliver trusted, professional support.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 3- 5 years of direct experience with HR Systems or similar role.
