Project Controls Advisor (Intermediate)
- Pay Rate: $80 – $87/hour
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Location: Calgary, AB T2C 5N1
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
Develops and maintains the owner schedule basis for assigned scope, integrates contractor schedules, analyzes critical path/float/interfaces, supports schedule reserve and recovery analysis, and produces schedule/progress insight.
Responsibilities
- In addition to Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2:
- Responsible for the coordination of the project cost control activities, including compliance with client policies and procedures, development and maintenance of controls systems to support contracting strategies, and contract administration.
- Possesses the capability and experience to develop Project Controls Plans.
- Possesses the capability and experience to oversee development of Project Class 3 Cost Estimate
- Possesses the capability to independently draft high-quality Appropriation Request packages, project procedures, and Decision Support (White Paper) documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management .
- Primavera proficiency
- Experience in Project Services, Project Controls and Planning
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Multiple international project assignments
- Willing to travel to required project sites (domestic) and work in a team environment
- Knowledgeable with project management best practices framework and key work processes
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong organizational, business, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical and computing skills
- Competent or Expert proficiency in several Project Management skills, project controls, execution planning, contracting strategy, contract administration, cost estimating, planning & scheduling)
- Experience on the owner side.
