RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibility

The primary duties and related experience include the following:

• Superior written and verbal French language proficiency skills;

• Knowledge of corporate communication and public relations principles, practices and methods to plan and conduct communication plans and projects;

• Communication skills: write, develop and produce bilingual communication products (e.g. newsletters, brochures, infographics/one-pagers, stakeholder communications, media and education materials), and recommend website content development and report on media coverage of education assessment and issues;

• Consultation skills to provide communication consultation services and support to management and staff related to bilingual communication strategies, products and messages;

• Project management skills to plan, develop and implement assigned communications campaigns, projects and coordinate the production of communication products;

• Research and analytical skills to conduct research to assess communication products and strategy options, and assess key performance indicators and analytics to inform strategies and product development; and

• Knowledge of internet systems, applications, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software applications to develop new media content and produce work
