DevOps Engineer
· 1+ year contract
· Pay Rate: $65-$85/hour
· On site in Toronto

Raise is hiring for several leading Financial Services clients in downtown Toronto right now. They have ongoing needs for DevOps Engineers with advanced knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Python.

Responsibilities
· Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker
· Deploy and scale applications using Kubernetes
· Automate infrastructure using Python
· Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features
· Collaborate with other developers to ensure that the codebase is consistent and maintainable
· Participate in code reviews to ensure that code is of high quality
· Continuously improve the development process by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
Qualifications
· Advanced knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Python
· Experience in building and maintaining containerized applications
· Experience in deploying and scaling applications using Kubernetes
· Experience in automating infrastructure using Python
· 3+ years of experience with Azure or GCP applications
· Industry certifications in Azure & GCP is considered a plus
· Experience with other related technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins would be considered a plus
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
