Pay Rate: Up to $19.00 – $24.00/hr on W2, depending on experience

Work Type: Onsite – Strasburg, OH 44680

Rotation Details: Most roles require the ability to handle a flexible schedule which is typically a 15X6 rotation

Travel: If you are required to work in an oilfield basin away from your "home" location, you will be provided airfare to and from that location.

Accommodation: While on rotation to a basin, you will be housed in a "man camp" or provided hotel-based housing and a per diem of $15/day

Duration: 3-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.

Job Overview:

The Cementing Oil & Gas Field Equipment Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable products and services to customers. The Cementing Oil & Gas Field Equipment Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations. Equipment includes high pressure cementing pump, articulated cementing bulk trucks, gooseneck iron and hose trailers, and field bulk equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
  • Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
  • Ensure individual and crew work safety.
  • Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
  • Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
  • Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
  • Maintain the required safety training.
  • Operate oilfield equipment.
  • Use basic tools such as hammers and hand valves.
  • Participate in pre-job and safety meetings.
  • Ensure equipment is prepared for rig up/down.
  • Maintain equipment and report issues.
  • PPE is provided by the Company.
  • Strict adherence to the Company safety policies and standards
  • Follow the Company’s safety standards and wear PPE

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No minimum years of experience required.
  • CDL or CLP preferred – driving heavy vehicles is only 5-10% of the role.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable with outdoor field work in various weather conditions.
  • Prescription safety glasses must be brought by the worker if needed.
