Raise is currently hiring a Financial Analyst team member on behalf of our client, a leading Canadian airline. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Job Overview

Seeking an Analyst to support the FP&A teams with financial foundational processes, including monthly forecasts and annual budgets. In addition, this individual will support our FP&A teams and assist our business in making key decisions, and will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and communication of complex business models to Executive stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

Support the Experience portfolio (Marketing, XM, Contact Centre, Guest Engagement, etc) that requires monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting as below:

  • Budgeting
  • Forecasting
  • Variance Analysis
  • Adhoc Analysis
  • Monthly Leadership Reporting

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability to develop and manage financial forecasts, including the use of statistical and financial modeling techniques.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and executive leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial audiences.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining complex financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Experience in conducting detailed variance analysis to identify and explain differences between actual and forecasted financial performance.
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering compelling presentations to executive stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends and patterns.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to ensure data integrity and consistency across financial models and reports.
