Hospitality Specialist
- Pay Rate: $19-$20/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 2 months
- Work Schedule: Can fluctuate between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET; 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM ET; 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET | Monday – Friday with 1 hour lunch | Overtime will be available occasionally for later events, resource needs to be flexible enough to start earlier or later in those circumstances.

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Guest services: Greet and assist guests, respond to inquiries, and handle special or high-profile requests for accommodations, transportation, and reservations.
- Logistics and coordination: Arrange restaurant and event reservations for catering, and coordinate with other departments (like housekeeping or maintenance) to resolve guest issues.
- Local expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge and recommendations for local dining, entertainment, and attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Problem-solving: Act as the first point of contact for escalated complaints or problems, and work to find professional and timely solutions.
- Operational management: Oversee the conference areas to ensure it is clean and organized and manage incoming communication like phone calls and emails.
- Administrative duties: Maintain daily logs, document important information, and handle administrative tasks to support the department and facility operations.
- Safety and compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, report safety concerns, and maintain professional grooming standards.

- Experience in hospitality (restaurant, hotel, catering, etc.)
- Events – Coordinate space, set up food/beverage, after event clean-up
- Attention to detail
- Communication Skills – Ability to communicate professionally with a wide variety of people

- Reception – Back-Up Reception for lunches, breaks and after-hour events
Qualifications
- High school diploma and GED.
- Experience in resort hotel or restaurant experience preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- In-depth local knowledge.
- Professional and calm demeanor.
