You are a self-starter, a great listener and communicator, and you’re looking for an opportunity to join an office team of the manufacturing company to support their senior accountant and HR manager.

Who is the employer?

The Raise has partnered with our client, a global supplier of thin film materials for the RF Wireless, optics, photovoltaic, and MEMS markets in a wide range of industries including semiconductor, life sciences, aerospace & defense, consumer-mobility and clean energy. They are a successful team of engineers and technicians hosting a positive and casual environment.

Now they are looking for you: their new HR and Accounting Clerk to join their team.

What you will be doing:

As their new HR and Accounting Clerk, you will report directly to the Senior HR Manager and You will be responsible for mostly supporting the Sr. HR Manager, providing backup for A/R and A/P as needed, assisting IT with managing inventory, and handling various HR projects.

Practically speaking, you will:

·       Backup for Accounts Receivable including invoicing and processing payments

·       Backup for Accounts Payable including entering invoices and generating checks

·       Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records

·       Assist with creating and editing HR documents

·       Manage training in Qualityze

·       Perform tasks related to new hire onboarding such as maintaining documents, sending applications, orientation, obtaining document translation when needed, update the emergency list, and oversee fob code and alarm setup

·       Assist with payroll-related tasks

·       Post job ads and communicate with temp agencies

·       Assist with audit requests and event planning

·       Schedule annual fit testing and follow up until completion

·       Manage the training portal in SharePoint

·       Assist with researching salary ranges

·       Help move digital HR documents to SharePoint

·       Assists with the preparation of company-wide initiatives such as annual performance appraisal process

·       Manage laptop inventory

·       Create and manage organizational chart in Visio

·       Go to the office once a week to retrieve mail and scan checks and invoices.

·       Coordinating office supply needs with the purchasing department.

·       Various projects as needed

 

The details:

This is a permanent full-time clerical position. The ideal candidate will be based in the Santa Clara, CA area and work in the office on a hybrid schedule ((1-2 days – onsite, 4-3 days – remote)

This position offers a competitive salary to work for 40 hours/week from Monday to Friday. What you will bring:



·       High School Diploma or College Degree

·       Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio)

·       Experience in accounting: AP, AR, Payroll, invoicing preferably in the manufacturing environment

·       Bookkeeping experience

·       HR support experience

·       Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

·       Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills and critical thinking

·       Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
