HRIS Analyst
- Pay Rate: $82.00/hour, depending on experience

Raise is currently hiring a HRIS Analyst on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, the third largest producer of Canadian oil and natural gas and the second largest refiner and upgrader with extensive midstream and downstream infrastructure.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The HRIS Analyst, in this role will report to the Manager of HRIS. As an ideal candidate you will have proven business system analyst experience in Workday architecture, configuration, maintenance and controls. In addition to this, you will have demonstrated experience supporting Human Resources initiatives in various Workday modules (e.g. Human Capital Management, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Talent Management, etc.).

Responsibilities
- Plan, test and support system releases and maintenance window activities, including review, testing, recommendations, and end user adoption.
- Support configuration and operational maintenance actions in various Workday modules as required, including Human Capital Management, Recruitment, Learning, Compensation, Talent Management etc.
- Provide day-to-day support for HR system users, which may involve responding to general inquiries, troubleshooting, and data fixes.
- Support the integrity, confidentiality and availability of Workday data through proven understanding of security configuration, role-based security controls, continuous monitoring, and privacy regulations relevant to protecting worker information.
- Continuously look for opportunities to streamline HRIS processes and system.
- Participate in data validation, testing and other project work as required.
- Ensure awareness of evolving technical and business capabilities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to SOX compliance with 0 non-remediated findings/exceptions.
- Maintain alignment with Enterprise Architecture on system integration standards and guidelines.
- Participate in control activities, identifying and evaluating risks.
- Be available for after business hours support escalations in emergency situations.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in a large, complex organization.
- 4+ years in a business systems analyst role focused with Workday experience
- Possess a combination of functional, technical and analytical skills to manage, optimize and support Workday enterprise platform, with strong configuration and maintenance background in a variety of Workday modules.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as providing effective end-user training and support.
- The ability to design, build, and maintain Workday business processes, workflows and related configuration to meet business needs.
- Committed to creating and maintaining clear documentation for system configurations, testing procedures, and business processes.
- Awareness of compliance or IT audit protocols (e.g. SOX).
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Experienced in effectively interacting, communicating and advising business partners.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel in particular.
- Proven track record of tact, confidentiality, initiative and sound judgment.
- Good understanding of HR policies, procedures, compliance and best practices.
- Familiar with or openness to learn SAP to support troubleshooting integrations between Workday and SAP (i.e. master data and payroll integration).
- Education and Skills
- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in an HR or IT related field.
