Hunting & Fishing Guide
Pay Rate: Up to $16.50 per hour, depending on experience
Work Type: Onsite – West Columbia, TX 77486
Duration: 2-year contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Raise is currently hiring a Hunting & Fishing Guide on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
- Under strict supervision, supports hunting and fishing trips for individuals and groups in support of client entertainment and operational requirements.
- Plans itinerary for hunting and fishing trips applying knowledge of countryside to determine best routes and sites.
- May transport people, equipment, and supplies to hunting and fishing areas.
- Explains hunting and fishing laws to ensure compliance.
- Instructs members of party in use of hunting or fishing gear.
- Administers first aid to injured individuals.
- Assists with facilities, grounds, and equipment maintenance and repairs as required.
- Cares for animals.
- Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Non-Commercial Driver's License required.
- Skills are typically acquired through 5 – 7 years of experience in hunting, fishing, and camping in the outdoor recreation and guide industry.
