Raise is hiring an IAM Developer  for Our Client, a major Canadian airline. This position is a Ten (10) month contract located in Calgary, Alberta. We are actively seeking talented professionals like you to drive these crucial initiatives forward.

Description

The highly skilled and experienced IAM Developer to play a key role in developing and supporting modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms and capabilities. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including system administration, software maintenance, release planning, change management, and technical enablement of IAM services. The Ideal candidate for this role will have previous SailPoint Development and design experience. and be a strong communicator and be able to translate technical requirements into business speak. This role is to support the Development and Design for various application patterns for integrations into SailPoint

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the development and technical support of modern Identity and Access platforms and capabilities. Provide development IAM system administration, software maintenance, release planning and change management activities.
  • Develop technical enablement of IAM services in adherence to the organizations policies and contribute to developing documentation e.g. build/run books. 
  • This role will have a deep fluency with Identity and Access platforms such as SailPoint, knowledge on authentication capability for cloud-based applications, infrastructure, experience working in Azure, AWS and GCP. Ensure technical capability is enabled using modern programming languages such as e.g. python or java and logical access security principles of "least privilege", "need to know" and "segregation of duties" is practiced reducing risk to the organization
  • Provide technical support of various IAM solutions e.g. Sailpoint IIQ
  • Develop access management patterns for standardizing authentication/authorization flows, single-sign- on/MFA, provisioning, user behavior analytics, access governance system controls, privileged/secrets management and designs as part of initiatives to modernize and elevate the access management security posture of 
  • Implement enhancements and enable new functionality for continuous improvement
  • Participate in evaluation of new IAM technologies
  • Develop IAM workflows e.g. Attestation, provisioning
  • Partner with various IT support groups and key stakeholders in People & Culture to elevate IAM's Security posture through technology
  • Provide operational support for the Identity and Access Governance program, acting as the technical escalation point as required.
  • Technical Support to IAM governance during periodic audit and compliance exercises for CSOX, PCI, GDPR, PIPEDA, etc.
  • Develop and maintain run documentation for all processes with a focus on self-service
  • Stay abreast of industry technical and business trends (association, practice, learning)
  • Identify access management gaps through proactive discovery and partner with application development teams for remediation
  • Works with senior professionals/leadership to identify opportunities to develop IAM new processes, tools, and services
  • Begins to lead employees on the development of methods, techniques, and various analytical approaches
  • Serves as a resource integrator – builds professional networks and identifies/connects resources to solve problems/issues and achieve goals. Regularly contributes actionable ideas in planning/design sessions
  • Collaborates with management to identify and pursue IAM innovative opportunities to build new processes, tools, techniques, products, and services

Required

  • Subject matter expertise in IAM design and development using Python or Java.
  • In-depth knowledge of IAM topics for both cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Proven experience providing technical support for IAM solutions like SailPoint IIQ.
  • Experience with authentication capability for cloud-based applications, infrastructure, working in Azure, AWS and GCP
  • Ability to develop access management patterns for standardizing authentication/authorization flows, single sign-on/MFA, provisioning, user behavior analytics, access governance controls, and privileged access management.
  • Experience implementing enhancements and enabling new functionalities for continuous improvement.
  • Experience participating in the evaluation of new IAM technologies.
  • Experience developing IAM workflows (e.g., attestation, provisioning).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with IT support groups and stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and maintaining run documentation with a focus on self-service.
  • Strong desire to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to identify access management gaps and collaborate with application development teams for remediation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • CISSP certification ( preferred)
