Logistics Specialist

  • Pay Rate: $20/hour on W2
  • Contract Length: 5 months
  • Location: Orlando, FL 32822 (Onsite)
  • Work Schedule: Rotating Shifts | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Raise is currently hiring a Logistics Specialist on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

 

Overview

  • The Logistics Specialist works in a warehouse environment, handling order processing, inspection and receiving, packing, shipping, stocking, and other duties as assigned.
  • SAP is used to manage logistics processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials using SAP.
  • Inspect shipments for damage, verify quantities, and ensure correct paperwork.
  • Process materials for shipment to global customers.
  • Stock and pull materials from inventory.
  • Package materials for shipment.
  • Support cycle counting and inventory by locating and counting materials.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks regularly.
  • Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by team leader.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • 2+ years of experience operating forklifts and hand trucks.
  • 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, or related experience.
  • 1+ year of ERP experience.
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Excel and Word experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of SAP experience.
  • 5+ years of Excel experience.
  • 2+ years of inventory control, loss prevention, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of shipping & receiving experience.

 

Physical Demands

  • Regularly lift 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 70 lbs. with assistance.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Safety shoes required.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel required; SAP experience a plus).
  • Forklift experience preferred (training available).
  • Minimum 1 year experience in inventory control, shipping & receiving, or related.
  • Must be comfortable in a light industrial environment and follow safety standards.
  • Hiring manager will conduct in-person interviews.
