Senior Accountant – Finance Branch
- Pay Rate: $68.28/hour, depending on experience

Raise is currently hiring a Senior Accountant – Finance Branch on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Senior Accountant in this role will join the Finance Branch. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supporting key decision-making, and driving continuous improvement in our accounting workflows. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong analytical skills and experience in financial systems, particularly Workday.
Deliverables
- Accurate and validated financial data across systems.
- Updated and streamlined accounting workflows/process documentation.
- Monthly or periodic budget reconciliation reports and variance analysis summaries.
- Financial analysis reports supporting decision-making and compliance.
- Workday records updated and aligned with organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform data clean-up and validation across financial systems and records.
- Support process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting workflows.
- Assist with budget tracking, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
- Conduct financial analysis to support reporting and decision-making.
- Update and navigate records within Workday for accounting and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of progressive professional accounting experience with strong hands-on experience and proficiency in financial analysis, account reconciliation, and variance reporting.
- Demonstrated experience managing data integrity and validation across multiple financial systems. Experience with Workday Financials (highly preferred).
- Solid knowledge of core budgeting processes, internal controls, and standard accounting workflows.
- Ability to manage data integrity and validation across multiple systems.

- Education and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
