Senior Business & Administrative Strategist
- Pay Rate: $33.58/hour, depending on experience

Raise is currently hiring a Senior Business & Administrative Strategist on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies with operations in natural gas, oil and power industries throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Senior Business & Administrative Strategist in this role operates at the intersection of business strategy, complex data analysis, and high-level administrative support. The Strategist will provide critical support to departmental business initiatives, senior management decision-making, and complex operational processes. This position requires an individual capable of independent decision-making on complex issues, interpreting policy in the absence of precedent, and managing multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Strategic & Analytical Support:
- Review and analyze data within ERP and other company systems, performing basic to advanced data analysis to support key team initiatives.
- Executive Documentation:
- Support the development of internal decision and initiative summaries and summarize policy and/or process exceptions for senior leadership review.
- Operational Oversight:
- Engage in highly complex matters and business processes that impact the organization and involve Senior Management strategic decisions.
- Project Management:
- May oversee a variety of projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Process & Policy Management:
- Provide support for Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) policy adherence, manage policy exceptions, and offer workflow support and troubleshooting.
- Transactional & Facilitative Support:
- Provide transactional-based support and act as a facilitative liaison across multiple disciplines and business units.
- Performance Tracking:
- Support operational performance tracking and management, including operational business and system process analysis in response to issue trends or patterns.
- Legacy Data Support:
- Offer specific support for legacy system data analysis.
- Autonomous Decision-Making:
- Make independent decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues, exercising resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy in the absence of formal guidelines or precedents.
Qualifications
- 15 years of progressive professional experience in a role involving complex business analysis, strategic support, operational process management, or executive administration.
- Advanced Data Analysis – Proven ability to access, review, and analyze data from ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or similar large-scale business systems.
- Ability to synthesize complex data and processes into clear, concise summaries and high-quality decision documents for senior management.
- Understanding of operational business and system processes, with specific experience in P2P workflows and compliance.
- Expertise in interpreting, applying, and making recommendations on complex company policies, especially in ambiguous situations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects simultaneously to successful completion.
- Education and Skills
- University Degree (Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related degree); Professional designations relevant to function considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective liaison and facilitation across diverse business units and senior leadership.
