Shipping Coordinator 

  • Pay Rate: $17.80/hour on W2
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Location: Parma, ID 83660 (Onsite)
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 30 minutes Lunch

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with site personnel on daily ship list and maintain high on-time-in-full performance.
  • Schedule in carriers for loading/unloading of shipments as per approved carrier lists utilizing SAP.
  • Check in all inbound/outbound trucks, performing necessary safety inspections for safe loading/unloading.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (pack list, bill of lading, loading diagrams, pallet placards) for less than truckload, truckload, and container shipments manually and through SAP ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Understand incoterms, FAK class, and other shipping terminology to ensure that freight shipments are properly classified according to regulations.
  • Assign seal numbers as needed and ensure that SAP is updated with all tracking numbers, for customers to easily track their shipments.
  • Ensure that all freight is properly loaded each day onto the carriers and that all freight that should have shipped has left the facility.
  • Enter in all freight charges per shipment to ensure that vendors are properly paid.
  • Double checks all delivery specifications ensuring that the right product is shipping with the correct delivery without any packaging defects.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience in a shipping/receiving environment.
  • Basic Computer knowledge, including MS Office suite experience with Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • SAP experience a must.
