Business Systems Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • writing user stories
  • refinement of user stories
  • involved in Spike tickets for analysis / coordinating with other team members for analysis
  • supporting the coordination of work with other teams
  • additional process-related work (ex. supporting the intake form, definition of done, etc.)
  • – working with team to review and understand detailed solution design approaches and help assess if it meets the goals of the user story
  • bug support
  • BDM creation and updates (configuration changes loaded to our ETL; not standard data mapping of FROM — TO that most BSAs produce)

Operations Support tasks

  • Quarter-end investigation support (coordinating meetings and querying data / reviewing BDM logic to find root cause)
  • BAT (Bus. Application Team) ticket support
  • Support Ops board with general inquiries, user audits, etc.
  • Gather and review list of QE Prod defects for inclusion in future enhancement work / ticket analysis for trends
  • Support any build out of Ops related documentation (ex. stability issues with triggers to manage manually during 2024 Q1, beginning to create a Confluence page, etc.)

Assets:

  • Familiarity with JAMA requirement management tool
  • Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA Cloud
