We’re Hiring! Our key client is hiring and looking to add a Support Services Analyst (VR) to their team. Please check the description below and reach out to us for more details if you are interested.
Work Type: Onsite – Spring, TX 77389
Pay – $25/hr to $30/hr
Work Schedule: 5 days on/2 days off – 5 days on/2 days off
Duration: 12-month contract
Job Overview:
* The Support Services Analyst (VR) supports the setup, operation, and maintenance of virtual reality systems in a lab, training, or demonstration environment.
* This role ensures that VR hardware and software are functioning properly and provides technical assistance to users during immersive experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, configure, and maintain VR headsets, sensors, and related hardware.
* Install and update VR software and applications across platforms.
* Prepare and run VR demonstrations for internal teams, clients, or educational groups.
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in real-time.
* Ensure safety and usability standards are met during VR sessions.
* Assist in documenting procedures and maintaining inventory of VR equipment.
* Collaborate with developers, researchers, or trainers to support immersive content delivery.
Qualifications:
* Basic understanding of computer systems and device connectivity (USB, HDMI, Bluetooth)
* Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments.
* Ability to learn new software platforms quickly and follow setup guides.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred (but not required):
* Background in IT support, gaming, media production, or technical demonstrations.
Top 3 Skillsets/Technologies Required:
* IT Familiarity: Comfortable using everyday technology like computers and smartphones, and able to install apps, manage files, and solve basic issues without hesitation.
* Hands-On with Devices: Familiar with plugging in and setting up common gadgets (like webcams or gaming consoles), and understands how things connect—USB, HDMI, Bluetooth, etc.
* Quick Software Learner: Able to pick up new software tools by exploring interfaces, following tutorials, and figuring things out independently.
