We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing like crazy and adding a Tool Technician I to their team.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr on W2
Work Type: Onsite – New Iberia LA, 77560
Work Schedule: 7:00 am until work is done | 12 days on and 2 days off |On call
Duration: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Responsibilities:
* Assemble and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment.
* Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, adhering to all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
* Actively participate in the quality improvement process to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
* Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.
* Effective communication skills are essential, given the nature of oil field service work.
* Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
* Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
* Basic computer skills are preferred.
* Ability to read and comprehend instructions and work with hand tools.
