Web Applications Developer
· 1+ year contract
· Pay Rate: $65-85/hour
· On-site in Toronto

Raise is hiring for several leading Financial Services clients in downtown Toronto right now. They have ongoing needs for Web Developers with 5+ years’ experience and expertise with REACT.js (Material UI), REST API (.NET Core/C#) and SQL database.

Responsibilities
· Perform comprehensive review of existing web-based applications
· Integrate new applications into a predominantly MS environment
· Enhance and support existing web applications
· Design and developing new web applications
· Develop and maintain web applications using REACT.js (Material UI), REST API (.NET Core/C#) and SQL database
· Ensure that web applications are developed with Secure by Design and meet OWASP Top Ten standard
· Develop AODA compliant applications
· Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
· Write automated tests to ensure high-quality code
· Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features
· Collaborate with other developers to ensure that the codebase is consistent and maintainable.
· Participate in code reviews to ensure that code is of high quality
· Work with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain web applications
· Continuously improve the development process by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
· At least 5 years of experience developing web applications using REACT.js (Material UI), REST API (.NET Core/C#) and SQL database
· Experience of Secure by Design and developing web applications which must meet OWASP Top Ten standard
· Experience developing AODA compliant applications
· Strong testing skill with good attention to detail
· Experience of Azure DevOps is required
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
