Instructional Designer
- Pay Rate: $36.94-$46.17/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 6 months with possible extension
- Location: Anywhere in the US (Remote)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- The Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to conduct needs assessments, identify appropriate learning/training approaches, and develop compelling learning activities and course content.
Responsibilities
- Create and update digital, visual, and audio interactive learning/training assets including end-user and process documentation.
- Lead or support instructor-led training with varying audience sizes and complexity.
- Evaluate feedback and performance data to continuously improve content effectiveness and delivery.
- Foster a collaborative, productive learning/training environment that captures the audience’s attention to help them meet learning objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand on learning analytics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of instructional design/development or comparative and demonstrable experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS365 and eLearning authoring tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS Dynamics, specifically Project Operations.
- Learning Management System (LMS) administration experience.
- Basic knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
- Fundamental understanding of HTML, HTML5, SCORM, and MV4.
