Recruitment Coordinator

  • Location: Jersey City, NJ – Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
  • Contract Length: 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Our client is the Canadian gold standard in the Financial Services Industry. We at Raise are hiring a Recruitment Coordinator one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.

Responsibilities:

Interview Scheduling & Coordination 

  • Manage complex interview scheduling across time zones and regions
  • Coordinate virtual and in-person interviews ensuring timely communication with interview team and candidates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and business leaders during the interview stage

Offer Letter Generation 

  • Generate and distribute offer letters using Workday or other HRIS platforms within service level agreement timelines

Pre-Employment & Onboarding

  • Stay informed and provide updates on pre-employment steps (background checks, welcome email, etc.), ensuring timely completion leading up to candidate start date
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics, streamlining new hire communication, and other pre-employment procedures as needed
  • Act as the liaison between new hires and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience

Team and Process Support 

  • Partner with the TA Recruiters to manage candidate workflows and requisition support
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives across TA Operations
  • Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Support 
  • Assist recruiters in proactively sourcing candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and internal databases such as Phenom.
  • Conduct initial resume screens and shortlist candidates when needed and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Must-have skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Any field)
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment coordination or HR support, preferably in financial services
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume interview scheduling, offer letter generation, and onboarding with multiple stakeholders, Attention to detail, & ability to manage multiple recruitment activities simultaneously.
  • Manages high-volume scheduling and onboarding and has prior experience generating offers and supporting.
  • Implemented a new ATS, drafted offer letters, and streamlined onboarding and offboarding with cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Time management and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication (written & verbal)
  • Ability to manage recruitment coordination tasks independently (not just follow but own the process)
  • Proficiency with any ATS and HRIS tools experience is acceptable—Strong background in Workday, and other ATS Contact Supplier. (Phenom, Microsoft Office)
  • Comfortable with SharePoint & Excel.
  • Creative eye for process improvement/candidate experience

  • Creating and Updating SOP’s 
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and find efficiencies.
  • Experience in the finance industry
  • Strong interest in HR & recruitment career path
