Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET
Training Schedule: 1-week remote training
Duration: 3-month contract with possible extension
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Operational Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in medical or legal fields who excel in providing tailored support over the phone. You will be responsible for handling inbound calls, navigating complex documentation, and delivering customized advice with professionalism and empathy.
Responsibilities:
* Answer inbound calls in a professional and courteous manner.
* Provide accurate and personalized responses to caller inquiries, using discretion and judgment beyond standard scripting.
* Interpret and understand complex documentation, including medical diagnoses and legal paperwork.
* Conduct research using internal resources to resolve caller issues effectively.
* Navigate multiple computer applications and systems simultaneously.
* Manage challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy.
* Adhere to assigned schedules and follow established call flows.
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Post-secondary education or experience in medical or legal fields preferred (e.g., law clerk, paralegal, nurse reviewer).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent active listening and customer service abilities.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
