Equipment Operator
- Pay Rate: $23.50/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 5 months
- Location: W. Wareham MA, 2576 (Onsite)
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through client’s industrial disposal process.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process inbound materials, through the safe operation of various types of industrial equipment, such as forklift, bulldozer, skid steer, vacuum truck, roll-off truck, walking floor trailer, dump trailer, pressure washer, material handling equipment, and various hand tools.
- Feed Shredders, Fuel Conveyors and Load Trucks with outbound Material.
- Safely operate industrial equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor.
- Follow defined industrial and manufacturing good housekeeping practices at all client’s facilities and within assigned work areas.
- Exterior site maintenance and improvement, as needed, which includes litter collection, snow removal and ice prevention.
- Traffic Control for incoming/outgoing traffic
- Assist facility Operations Department with conveyor equipment repairs, shredder hammer changes/rotations.
- Assist during major outages as needed
- Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year experience operating industrial equipment
- Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule
