Material Handler
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00/hr on W2, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Midland, TX 79706
Work Schedule: 8 days on, 2 dyas off
Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Raise is currently hiring a Material Handler on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
- The Material Handler I under direct supervision, safely and effectively supports the daily stockpoint operations through mixing liquid mud, loading bulk products, and shipping and receiving pallet materials for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of quality customer service, world-class safety, and stockpoint efficiency.
- Checks material orders for proper quantities.
- Operates forklifts as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to use a forklift.
- A hard worker who is motivated to improve and learn.
- Follows all instructions exactly and never skips steps or cuts corners.
- A positive, helpful attitude; comfortable asking for help when needed.
- Always focused on safety. You must be willing to use Stop Work Authority (SWA) to pause a job if you don’t understand something or see a risk.
- Able to work shifts of 12 hours or more in the Permian Basin outdoor environment.
- Able to lift 50lb sacks.
