- Pay Rate: $57.00 – $65.00/hour on W2

- Location: Spring, TX 77389 (Onsite)
- Travel: International Travel up to 30%

Overview
- The Learning Systems Analyst plays a critical role in enabling scalable, role-based learning and workforce development through effective Learning Management System (LMS) design and administration.
- This position focuses on defining, maintaining, and optimizing job role architecture and competency mapping within the LMS to ensure learners are aligned with the right learning pathways.
- Partnering closely with global Learning teams and business stakeholders, the role blends learning systems expertise, data analysis, and advisory support to translate business needs into practical, system-supported solutions—all while maintaining data integrity and enterprise standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and support job role and competency architecture within the enterprise LMS.
- Ensure accurate mapping of job roles, competencies, and learning assignments to users to support role-based learning.
- Analyze LMS data and reports to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, delivering actionable, data-driven insights.
- Partner with global Learning teams, HR, and business stakeholders to define and refine role structures and learning pathways.
- Facilitate discussions with subject matter experts to gather requirements and align LMS configuration with business needs.
- Support data quality, role structure integrity, and continuous improvement of LMS configurations and processes.
- Apply industry context—particularly oil and gas operations (upstream, midstream, downstream)—when supporting job roles and learning design.
- Contribute to change management efforts by clearly communicating system updates, role changes, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience in learning systems, data analysis, or HR technology.
- Hands-on experience working within an enterprise Learning Management System (LMS)
- 5+ years of experience in learning systems, job architecture, competency frameworks, or learning/talent-related roles.
- Strong data analysis skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
- Proven ability to leverage LMS reporting tools to analyze learning and job role data.
- General understanding of the oil and gas industry, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to balance business needs with system standards, constraints, and best practices.
