SMT Machine Operator
Pay Rate: $23.50/hour on W2 includes a shift differential of $1.25/hr, depending on experience.
Work Type: Onsite – Sugar Land, TX 77478
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2nd Shift | 3:00 pm – 12:00 am
Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
Raise is currently hiring an SMT Machine Operator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Job Overview:
The Machine Operator is responsible for helping provide safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery to customers while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery. This role ensures equipment is delivered on time according to operational demands and maintains both shop and field equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
- Plan and execute maintenance activities for a designated location (outside of Technology Lifecycle Management activities).
- Maintain equipment according to established procedures, reporting any problems or deviations.
- Operate equipment according to procedures, competency levels, and job requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve the service delivery process.
- Participate in failure investigations when relevant.
- Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
- English competency.
- Electronic component identification.
- Hands-on knowledge of screen printers.
- Usage of pick-and-place machines.
- Usage of reflow ovens.
- Ability to follow standard procedures.
