Senior Security Analyst

Raise is currently hiring a Senior Security Analyst on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection.
Description
Our Client is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Senior Security Analyst to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will provide technical security leadership across various IT projects, maintain and optimize our suite of security tools, and ensure our on-premises and cloud environments remain resilient against emerging threats.
The ideal candidate brings over a decade of deep technical expertise, a strong grasp of security governance, and the ability to seamlessly manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical security expertise to IT projects
- Complete sustainment tasks related to maintaining implemented security tools
- Complete security reviews of new applications (on-premises and cloud)
- Complete tasks related to security governance and compliance (e.g., security baselines, change reviews)
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in dedicated cybersecurity roles.
- Proven track record in configuring and maintaining security tools (e.g., SIEM, Antimalware, PAM, SWG, CASB, EDR)
- Experience in cloud security configuration of cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of security architecture principles
- Well organized and able to handle multiple tasks quickly and accurately
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- CISSP will be an asset
