Field Operator
Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Prudhoe Bay, AK 99734
Work Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
Accommodations: While on rotation to a basin, you will be housed in a "Workforce Lodge" and provided meals or provided hotel-based housing.
Duration: 4-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.

Job Overview:
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in beginning a career in the oil and gas industry. No prior industry experience is required, as all technical training is provided on the job. Responsibilities:
- Assists during rigging-up and rigging-down of surface and downhole well slickline equipment.
- Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
- Assists in the running of a job and in the clean up, repair, and preparation for the next job.
- Learns to maintain, clean and perform preventative maintenance on down-hole and surface slickline equipment.
- Learns to assemble downhole well slick line tools (running and pulling tools, tool strings, service equipment, and well head pressure contained equipment).
- Assists in the performance of pre and post job vehicle and equipment inspections and associated paperwork and/or reports.
- Daily work involves the use of basic hand tools and field equipment.
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on operations.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be comfortable performing physical work in an outdoor field environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work extended shifts in remote field conditions.
- No certifications are required; all job-specific training is provided.
