Office Administrator
- Location: On-site – 1155 Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston, TX 77079, USA
- Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
- Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year (USD)

Raise is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will support the smooth and professional operation of our US head office in Houston, Texas by providing reliable administrative support, managing supplies and shipping logistics, and keeping our systems and processes well-organized. Strong organization, warm communication, and self-managed follow-through are essential. This position is based on-site at our Houston office, with working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
What you’ll do
Administrative Support
- Provide clerical support including data entry, document formatting, printing, scanning, and filing.
- Open, sort, scan, and distribute incoming physical mail to the relevant Raise team members.
- E-cash checks using JP Morgan Chase systems in collaboration with the Finance team.
- Maintain and improve physical and digital filing systems.
- Assist with document printing, coordination tasks, vendor pickups, and other administrative duties as requested by the Admin, Marketing, IT, and Compliance teams.
Shipping & Equipment Logistics
- Coordinate domestic shipping across the U.S. for multiple teams, including anniversary gifts, IT equipment, and Marketing swag and branded items.
- Track and dispatch inbound and outbound shipments with clear documentation and communication.
- Receive and log returned laptops and equipment from departing employees.
- Prepare, package, and ship equipment to staff when required.
Office Operations
- Welcome guests and monitor and manage the general office phone line and shared inboxes.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies; manage reordering and vendor coordination.
- Monitor and maintain small equipment, tools, and office assets as needed.
- Book and coordinate corporate travel logistics in alignment with policy and budget.
- Ensure shared spaces are tidy, functional, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Culture & Team Support
- Administer the North American staff recognition program, including birthdays, anniversaries, and life milestones.
- Coordinate internal events, including planning, catering, and venue setup, and lead logistics for the annual Holiday Party.
- Act as a point of contact for staff inquiries about office procedures and logistics.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Any experience as an office manager, administrative assistant, receptionist, or similar administrative role and/or customer service experience.
- Strong computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and data integrity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates, contractors, and internal stakeholders at all levels of the company.
- Able to manage multiple tasks at the same time and prioritize based on urgency.
- Experience with shipping and receiving.
- Ability to self-manage, balance freedom and responsibility, and work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- High school diploma required; a post-secondary degree or diploma in any field would be an asset.
