Data Analyst
- Pay Rate: $24.90/hour (on W2)
- Contract Length: 6 months

- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work Type: Hybrid- Tues/Wed in office Mandatory, potentially a 3rd if a meeting fell on a Monday for example

Overview
This position is responsible for the data collection, review, analysis, and reporting for the Energy Efficiency business operations for all three states, including but not limited to data set validation against program requirements, compliance verification of application data, dashboarding, and executive summaries of program performance. Responsibilities include providing data oversight support to leadership for the energy efficiency residential and commercial Channel programs MA, CT and NH. This includes collaborating closely with the database management, finance, and implementation teams as well as close collaborations with Energy Efficiency Consultants and 3rd party vendors/lenders.
Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and approve large datasets of customer application data, including technical review of metrics following a given set of parameters
- Monitor, track, and analyze vendor performance data to ensure accuracy and data compliance
- Track data errors and work with third-party vendors to develop solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee program specific datasets to ensure accuracy and alignment with reported spending
- Utilize and validate data in Tracksys, Tableau, PowerBI, and other vendor platforms
- Ensure datasets reflect program compliance standards and flag projects outside of program requirements
- Build and monitor dashboards to track program performance
- Support programmatic changes through updating data requirements
- Collaborate with vendors on program changes and data improvement opportunities
- Support the review of Energy Efficiency accounting and budgeting information to ensure it is complete, accurate and maintained in accordance with the Company’s’ Accounting and Budgeting area requirements, as well as with regulatory decisions and orders.
- Supports the production of the Monthly Key Performance Indicators and Financial Reports for the EE organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is required in Business, Data Management, Economics, Math, Finance, Accounting,
- 1 -2 related experience. Dataset management, Compliance oversight, Tracksys/system management, PowerBI/Tableau, Project Finance, Energy Efficiency, Economics/Mathematics and Regulatory, Budgeting or Planning experience preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong excel
- Knowledge of salesforce/build out dashboards would be a plus
- Analylis/pivot data
- Be able to pull data in PowerPoint and present on it
- Understand how to take the rules of a program and apply it into their analysis
- Knowledge, experience and demonstrated abilities in data modeling, data validation, and large dataset management
- Knowledge, experience and, demonstrated utilizing Excel to make decisions
- Must possess an understanding of data management
- Must be customer driven, display initiative, accepts responsibility, holds others accountable, participates in and facilitates team effectiveness, thinks and acts analytically.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, to conduct subjective analysis, to support the mission, work independently and apply knowledge and skill to solve problems.
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with management
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, in addition to other Microsoft Office applications (MS Power point, MS Word) and other business system applications.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in running queries in various systems and data gathering.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
