Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly motivated AI Strategy & Enablement Support Analyst to support the development and execution of enterprise AI strategy initiatives. This role plays a key part in advancing AI governance, enabling cross-functional collaboration, supporting AI project delivery, and ensuring the successful implementation of AI-driven business solutions.
- The successful candidate will work closely with business, operational, technology, and data teams to identify and evaluate AI opportunities, develop business cases, support governance processes, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and monitor the realization of business value. Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of AI governance frameworks, processes, and standards.
- Assist in managing the AI opportunity portfolio, including intake tracking, prioritization, dependency management, value assessment, and progress reporting.
- Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, and cross-functional working groups, including agenda preparation, meeting facilitation, decision tracking, and action management.
- Develop and maintain AI business cases, including value hypotheses, benefit estimates, implementation assumptions, and post-implementation value realization measurements.
- Support organizational readiness, stakeholder communications, user adoption, and change management activities related to AI initiatives.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations, dashboards, reports, and briefing materials to support leadership decision-making.
- Build and maintain portfolio reporting tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to track AI program outcomes, adoption rates, governance effectiveness, and realized benefits.
- Support the development and maintenance of AI knowledge-sharing resources and collaboration platforms, including SharePoint-based hubs and repositories.
- Coordinate activities between business teams, subject matter experts, vendors, data teams, and technology delivery groups to advance AI initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Facilitate AI opportunity intake, discovery workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and business problem definition exercises.
- Evaluate and prioritize AI use cases using established criteria, including business value, strategic alignment, technical feasibility, risk, and implementation complexity.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, machine learning, generative AI, advanced analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with operational and business teams to identify solutions that improve productivity, customer experience, reliability, operational effectiveness, and business performance.
- Support investment prioritization activities and portfolio planning processes.
- Document requirements, workflows, risks, decisions, and governance outcomes.
- Monitor project progress and support the successful execution of AI initiatives across the organization.
- Promote responsible AI practices, governance compliance, and risk management principles throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Post-secondary diploma, certificate, or university degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 2-5 years of experience supporting business transformation, data and analytics initiatives, technology delivery, governance programs, portfolio management, or process improvement projects.
- Experience supporting or delivering data, systems, process improvement, digital transformation, or enterprise application initiatives within a business environment.
- Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Experience supporting governance processes, strategic programs, or organizational transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of AI, Generative AI, machine learning, automation, analytics, and digital transformation concepts and business applications.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML technologies, enterprise data platforms, and modern analytics ecosystems.
- Experience developing business cases, value assessments, and executive-level recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Power Query.
- Experience using Power BI for reporting, dashboard development, and data visualization.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with change management, communications planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of AI use case evaluation and prioritization methodologies.
- Experience with portfolio management, performance reporting, and benefits tracking.
- Strong business process analysis and requirements gathering skills.
- Experience developing executive presentations and leadership reporting materials using PowerPoint and Power BI.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and engage diverse stakeholder groups effectively.
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, responsible AI practices, risk management, and compliance considerations.
- Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as an MBA, MSc, or a related postgraduate qualification.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CBAP, CDMP, or comparable credentials.
- Experience with records and information management, including retention, classification, controls, and audit readiness.
- Working knowledge of data governance principles, including data ownership, stewardship, standards, quality management, and issue resolution.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and enterprise portfolio management tools.
- Experience supporting AI, innovation, digital transformation, or analytics portfolios.
- Exposure to Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or other enterprise data and AI platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI tools, and emerging AI technologies.
- Knowledge of investment prioritization frameworks, portfolio optimization, and benefits realization methodologies.
