Raise is hiring an IT Full Stack Programmer / Developer for Our Client is a partnership of 12 municipalities – one Electoral Area and one treaty First Nation who collaboratively plans for and delivers regional-scale services with its core services being drinking water, wastewater treatment and solid waste management. This position is a one (1)-year contract located in Burnaby, BC. We are actively seeking talented professionals like you to drive these crucial initiatives forward.

 

Description

The IT Full Stack Programmer / Developer will work in collaboration with our IT team and Project Delivery team.

 

Role Accountabilities:

  • Review and upgrade existing application from .Net Core 3.1 to work with version .Net 8 and Vue.
  • Develop, test and implement future phases of MAT using .Net 8 and Vue.
  • Perform requirements analysis and create documentations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Write SQL queries and views.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum and develop User Stories within Azure DevOps as part of the working team.
  • Work alongside:   Developers, Business Analysts, Database Administrators, and Business Users

 Qualifications:

The position requires the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of full stack development in C# .NET.
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Experience with Vue front-end development is a must.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or above.
  • Experience with HxGN EAM SOAP Web Service or HxGN EAM REST API would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control.
  • Familiarity with asset management, asset registry (asset naming, hierarchy, data quality, etc.) and associated business processes is an asset.
  • Familiarity with capital project delivery using enterprise systems is an asset.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and project management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal contacts.
  • Provide advice and assistance on matters related to the work.
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
