Specialized IT Consultant – Senior

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement EPM solution on EPM Cloud based on existing on-premises Hyperion Planning and Essbase ASO Reporting application. 
  • Provide options and recommendations to enhance performance and overall usability of applications. Consider all new EPM Cloud technologies and features in your recommendations.
  • Design, develop, and implement technical architecture with MS Azure AD, SSO (Single Sign-On) and MFA (multi-factor authentication) security setup.
  • Design, develop, and implement a Disaster Recovery process for EPM Cloud that satisfies corporate standards and business needs.
  • Ensure technical architecture is compatible with system integration solution.
  • Document all new design and procedures, deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the EPM Application and Technical Team.
  • To develop a financial tracking tool that will meet Multi-Year Planning, Budget Allocation Statement, and reporting and reconciliation needs.
  • Reporting capabilities that will support ProForma generation, public accounts reconciliation, creation of Strategic Planning Process (SPP) Trilateral Placemat, user-defined parameter driven reconciliation reports/tools, dashboards for Sr. Management, and Estimates Briefing Book (EBB) financial reporting.
  • Ability to import/upload historical data.
  • User-friendly front-end to capture multi-year planning data for a 10-year planning window.
  • Functionality to export user-defined financial data to excel and interface with ORBIT.

Skills

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

  • Demonstrated Technical Skills with 5+ Years of Experience Designing and Implementing Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud Solutions (PBCS)

Specific skills:

  • Provide functional and technical consultation in projects that leverage PBCS modules such as Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting, and Enterprise Data Management to meet business requirements.

Experience and skillset include but not limited to the following:

  o Lead requirements gathering and performed detailed fit/gap analysis

  • Analyze and Design PBCS cloud solution that meet business requirements
  • Experience implementing PBCS modules such as planning, FCCS, Strategic modeling, Cost Management
  • Experience implementing financial reports, management reports and briefing books
  • Build PBCS applications, including reports and integrations with on-premise data sources, identity and access management
  • Document designs, project collaterals
  • Conduct and document unit, integration and user acceptance testing
  • Provide production support

Demonstrated Communications Skills and Experience in Working with Large Organizations and Projects:

  • Worked closely with project management team to provide inputs into the project plan
  • Provided regular updates to project management team on progress throughout the project. Reported all key issues and risks in a timely manner
  • Provided demos and presentations to project stakeholders upon request on options and solutions
  • Worked closely with project team to document all new design and process, user and administrative procedures, testing artifacts (Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Scripts)
  • Delivered knowledge transfer sessions to the EPM Application and Technical Team
  • Provided input into user training sessions and materials

Must Haves:

  • Demonstrated Technical Skills with 5+ Years of Experience Designing and Implementing Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud Solutions (PBCS)
  • Experience implementing PBCS modules such as planning, FCCS, Strategic modeling, Cost Management
