Senior Cloud Development and Administration Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise full-stack Java applications.
- Develop scalable and fault-tolerant microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build modern front-end applications using Angular or React.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Create technical designs and architecture documentation.
- Perform data modelling and database design.
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools including GitHub Copilot and GenAI into development workflows.
- Develop secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise applications.
- Implement DevOps best practices using Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure and administer Git repositories.
- Maintain Jenkins build pipelines and deployment environments.
- Recommend and support cloud migration strategies.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Develop automated unit tests and support automated testing.
- Review user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
- Perform peer code reviews and documentation reviews.
- Identify technical risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing.
- Support production implementation and transition to operational support teams.
- Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.
Mandatory Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Minimum 8 years of Java enterprise web application development.
- Minimum 5 years designing and developing Microservices using Spring Boot.
- Minimum 3 years developing Angular or React applications.
- Experience implementing enterprise REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of JPA and enterprise application architecture.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and Generative AI-assisted software development.
- Strong SQL, Oracle, and PL/SQL experience.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Strong DevOps experience including Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
- Experience implementing automated testing using Selenium and Jest.
- Strong knowledge of software security, performance optimization, scalability, and application architecture.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
