Job Title: Curation Specialist
Location: Remote, India
Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM IST
Employment: Full Time
Experience: Junior to mid-level: 1–5 years in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a similar function in a hyper-growth, competitive environment
Position Overview
The Curation Specialist builds and runs private talent communities for direct sourcing programs within Global Clients – APAC. You find people with the skills and interest to become contract workers, keep them engaged, and put the right candidates in front of recruiters the moment roles open. You work in WorkLLama, a direct sourcing platform, with AI-assisted search and Boolean sourcing.
The role suits a talent acquisition professional with one to five years of experience and a concentration in sourcing, ideally from a staffing firm, recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) provider, or direct sourcing program. You care about the candidate experience, write clearly, and like watching a well-kept pipeline turn into hires.
Raise is a workforce solutions company that connects people in meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Pooling and Proactive Recruitment
• Use client historical and active job data to spot roles and locations with volume hiring potential, then build and maintain targeted talent pools.
• Source candidates into talent pools through internal channels (client applicant tracking systems, alumni and retirees, silver medalists, and internal networks) and external channels (Raise databases, job boards, social media and email campaigns, hiring events, and campus outreach).
• Create and manage Expression of Interest (EOI) job postings across internal and external platforms.
• Screen candidates by phone, digital interview, and skills assessment to keep talent pools current and qualified.
• Enrich candidate profiles with screening notes and keep statuses up to date.
• Alert the Delivery and marketing teams when a talent pool needs more external sourcing or marketing support.
Active Job Management
• Use AI suggestions and Boolean search to find matching candidates in the talent community and pools.
• Shortlist qualified candidates for recruiter screening and further evaluation.
• Reach out by SMS and email to confirm candidate interest and generate referrals.
• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through every stage, including interviews and offers.
Candidate Engagement
• Give candidates timely updates on their application status.
• Record feedback on candidate profiles so the next conversation starts where the last one ended.
• Run 60-day check-ins with the talent community to confirm fit for upcoming roles, using automation where it helps.
• Build long-term relationships that keep the pipeline healthy for current and upcoming needs.
Local Compliance and Candidate Process
• Write and publish job postings that meet the employment, equal opportunity, and anti-discrimination rules of each country you post in, including what a posting may and may not ask for.
• Run a consistent candidate process: screen every candidate against the same job-related criteria, and keep personal questions out of screening.
• Handle candidate data in line with local privacy law. Get consent before collecting data, use it only for the purpose stated, and keep records accurate and secure.
• In India, this includes the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the equal opportunity and equal pay requirements of Indian labour law. Postings must not state preferences based on gender, caste, religion, marital status, or disability.
• Raise compliance questions early with the Regional Account Director, and stay current as local rules change.
Core Competencies
• Sourcing craft: Builds strong Boolean strings, uses AI search well, and knows where hard-to-find talent spends time.
• Candidate care: Treats every candidate as a future hire and keeps them informed.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, with a focus on candidate care and customer service.
• Data-minded: Uses reporting to see which pools are healthy, which need work, and where to focus next.
• Resourcefulness: Solves problems proactively and finds a new route when a channel runs dry.
Technical Skills
The Curation Specialist works across several systems every day and should be comfortable with each of the following:
• Applicant tracking systems (ATS): Manages candidate records, statuses, and notes accurately.
• Direct sourcing platforms: Builds and manages talent pools and EOI postings. WorkLLama experience is a plus.
• Sourcing tools: Uses Boolean search, AI-assisted matching, job boards, and social platforms to find and engage talent.
• Reporting tools: Uses Microsoft Excel or similar tools to track pipeline activity and report on results.
Education & Experience
• One to five years in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a similar function in a hyper-growth, competitive environment, with a concentration in sourcing.
• Strategic sourcing and talent engagement experience.
• Prior experience at a staffing firm, RPO, or in a direct sourcing environment.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology.
• Familiarity with data reporting and analysis tools.
• Must reside in India and have the right to work there.
