Pay Rate: Up to $23.00/hour on W2, depending on experience.

Work Type: Onsite – Zanesville, OH 43701

Duration: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Raise is currently hiring an IT Desktop Technician II on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader



Responsibilities:

  • The IT Desktop Technician II under strict supervision, performs configuration, installation and/or repairs of PC hardware and peripherals according to established procedures.
  • Contacts end user to define data migration requirements and perform the data migration, if required.
  • Monitors for trouble tickets and coordinates with appropriate vendors for equipment repair, if needed.
  • Adheres to and enforces facility security measures, company safety standards and software licensing procedures.
  • Assists in setting up PC's and related peripherals for special requests.
  • Lends guidance to desktop support teams on hardware related issues.
  • Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
  • Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected.

Qualifications:

  • Skills are typically acquired through possession of a A+ certification or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a PC related field which includes experience in hardware configuration.
