Systems Engineer
- Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (3-4 days a week)
- Pay Rate: $46.18/hr – $54.53/hr
- Contract Length: 6 Months

Responsibilities:
- Onboard infrastructure to support the migration of ETL data pipelines from SAS over to Python.
- Assist in converting SAS code to Python
- Assist in managing the automation and deployment of pipeline to the production server
- Manage any vulnerabilities identified by Cybersecurity
Must have skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Python development or DevOps roles
- 2+ years working with Unix/Linux systems administration
- Proficiency in Python (intermediate to advanced level)
- Familiarity with DBT Tool.
- Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub)
- Knowledge of SQL and database management
- Experience with SAS programming and analytics
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- BA/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- Strong soft skills are essential
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in Capital Markets or Commercial Banking is a significant – Nice to Have.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Ansible)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
