Human Resource Generalist
Pay Rate: Up to $47.57-$54.83/hour, depending on experience
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Raise is currently hiring a HR Generalist on behalf of our client. They're expanding their Talent Acquisition team to support growing business needs across North America, making this an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative environment. Our client, is one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies with operations in natural gas, oil and power industries throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The HR Generalist is responsible for delivering full-cycle recruitment services while acting as a strategic talent advisor to hiring leaders and Human Resources partners. This role focuses on attracting top talent, executing innovative sourcing strategies, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience from initial engagement through offer acceptance.
Working within a geographically dispersed Talent Acquisition team, the successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders across multiple functions to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes while supporting workforce planning, diversity initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and candidate onboarding support.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using LinkedIn, social media, referrals, networking, job boards, and market research.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Conduct candidate interviews and assessments using behavioral interviewing techniques.
- Present qualified candidate shortlists and provide hiring recommendations to business leaders.
- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience through proactive communication and relationship management.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders and Human Resources partners.
- Provide market intelligence, recruitment consulting, and hiring recommendations.
- Influence hiring decisions while balancing business needs, candidate experience, and recruitment best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams to support organizational talent objectives.
Recruitment Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze recruitment metrics, applicant funnels, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
- Recommend process improvements that increase recruitment efficiency while maintaining quality.
- Support employer branding initiatives and diversity recruitment strategies.
- Contribute to Talent Acquisition best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment in corporate, agency, or high-volume recruitment environments.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and recruitment best practices.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment platforms, and candidate databases.
- Strong customer service, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while working under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting recruitment across multiple business functions.
- Knowledge of recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
- Familiarity with labor market research and workforce planning.
- Strong understanding of behavioral interviewing and candidate assessment methodologies.
- Experience working in large, geographically dispersed organizations.
